Default Bugged trading?

Several times now when I've tried to sell stuff to other players, I've encountered a bug: both players click accept, but the sale is cancelled.

It happened with minotaur horns and runes after the patch where the graphics for the runes were changed, and today it happened when I tried to sell a half-moon bow.

Anyone know what's causing this?
Is there any way around it? It's damn annoying.

Jup I know what you did (most likely)

You had your item in the Storage Inventory or he did. Drag it to your PERSONAL ON BODY inventory FIRST. Then do the trade.

Actually someone prolly tried to scam you. What they will do is put the asked amount in the window and say "click accept". You do that and they click modify/submit really quick. It seems strange like the trade 'bugged' or something. You try again, they do the same thing...you get frustrated trying to sell ur item for this great price and hit accept accept accept trying to pwn the bug that is holding back your selling power! Boom they enter 25 gold, hit accept real quick, u are clicking madly accept, trade finishes u are scammed. Happened to me the other day and someone was complaining in ascalon the other day. if you notice anything funny with trade, its someone on the other end messing it up. DC and ignore.

1) Nope, it was in my personal inventory. Good point, though, I think the minotaur horns may have been in storage.
2) Scam: possibly.
3) Full inventory: not mine, but possibly the other players. Will remember to ask that if it happens again.

People shouldn't be taken in by any scam like this.

If the other player modifies their portion of the trade after you've clicked accept, the game takes you off of accept, and you have to click it again for the trade to go through. If they change their half of the trade, don't hit accept again until you've verified what they are offering.

The one scam I've heard of with having the trade cancelled is someone will often try to convince you that trading isn't working, and to go outside and drop stuff on the ground to trade. This is a load of crap, and you should never try trading via dropping on the ground unless you're willing to get ripped off.

The only reason's I've seen for trades being cancelled other than from people hitting the cancel button is if an item being traded is in a stash, or else if one of the people does not have enough inventory space to hold the items that they are being traded.
